VL*FX is a complete package of animation effects that can be layered with gobo or used on their own. To simplify startup and minimize movement in the rig, the patented V*Track Calibration system calibrates pan and tilt on the fixture while only requiring it to move to 50/50 home position during the process. Manual Preset Mode in Vari-Lite fixtures is a way to program light cues into a fixture when no DMX controller is present, making it easy to use intelligent lights in architectural / architainment lighting applications. There are 20 available locations where you can store fixture cue information, and cues can be recorded from a DMX controller or using the user interface on the front of the fixture. When in Manual Preset Mode, the Vari-Lite fixture automatically plays back the selected preset whenever it is powered on, for dynamic lighting in architectural environments where there is no DMX controller.
