At Clearwing Productions in Phoenix, our own Jeanette Farmer caught up with a true teal Vari-Lite fan. That poofta ain't coming off.
We had a great time at the annual 4Wall Entertainment Vendor Showcase in NYC showcasing all our latest technologies including the VL4000 BeamWash.
When the Rush tour came through Dallas, National Sales Manager Leonard Miller went to visit LD Howard Ungerleider and the crew from Solotech to check out their lighting design featuring VL4000 BeamWash and VL4000 Spot luminiares.
Toucan Productions has made an investment in VL4000 Spot luminaires which are now available at their Oklahoma City headquarters. As the largest provider of lighting, staging and sound equipment in Oklahoma, Toucan Productions supports over 1000 events annually through their massive equipment inventory which already included a number of Vari-Lite luminaires. “The VL4000 Spot was a ‘no-brainer’ to purchase because of all the features packed into the light which makes it an extremely versatile fixture for all markets," said Misty Myers, Vice President, Toucan Productions.
The award-winning stage lighting and theatrical supplier Kinetic Lighting is now carrying the VL4000 Spot luminaire as part of their lighting inventory. “We’re thrilled to have the VL4000 Spot in our rental inventory” said David Rosen, President Kinetic Lighting. “This fixture is packed with features and offers a whole range of FX, which are two of the reasons client feedback has been so positive. We think VL4000 Spot will quickly become a workhorse fixture in our inventory.”

Andrew sent this creation to Dean Dove who is prominently and proudly displaying this piece in his office inside the Dallas headquarters of Philips Vari-Lite. Spectacular detail and ingenuity.
At the 2015 Academy of Country Music Awards, Jon Kusner of Full Flood used Vari-Lite VL3500 Wash, VL3500 Spot, VL3000 Spot and VL5 Arc luminaires in his lighting design at the massive AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas, marking the largest celebration the Academy has ever presented.
At Club Nokia in Los Angeles, the VL4000 BeamWash took the stage along with the VL4000 Spot luminaire to showcase their unlimited design possibilities to lighting designers and dealers throughout Southern California.
