KAABOO is a three-day event that combines rock-n-roll, world-class art, and the finest culinary cuisines, and it's described as the ideal live music event that takes place in a wonderland off the shores of the Pacific Ocean. For the 2015 KAABOO, Lighting Designer Chris Lisle worked with Solotech to create a powerful and expansive rig using 36 VL4000 Spot, 41 VL3500 Wash and 12 VL3500 Wash FX luminaires.

As the one of the world’s largest international multi-sport competitions, the 2015 Pan American Games hosted close to 7,000 athletes from across North America, Latin America, South America and the Caribbean. To inaugurate the opening of the games in Toronto, lighting designer Martin Labrecque worked with Solotech to create a design using using 60 VL4000 Spot luminaires.

When “The End Times” tour kicked-off at the Concord Pavilion in California, longtime tour lighting designer Lawrence Upton was once again designing the lighting rig for the alternative rock band. Set designer Ray Winkler joined forces with lighting designer and show director Patrick Woodroffe to seamlessly translate the distinct AC/DC sound into a grungy buffalo horned 'Mad Max' style stage, flawlessly complemented by metallic, two colour classic rock and roll lighting primarily delivered by over 60 of the new Philips Vari-Lite VL4000 BeamWash luminaires.
